Students are involved with Gardening for the Summer with
Navajo Special Diabetes Project
Four Service Areas
have gardening projects with the students including Chinle, Crownpoint, Fort
Defiance, and Kayenta. Supervisors
from those areas say the students are excited about participating in the
planting and looking forward to the growth of the crops.

Renovation Work on Hard Rock Wellness Center on the way
for the Community
The
renovation project started in March after years of delay due to funding issues,
but work is progressing quite rapidly now. Randall Comb with NNSDP made a visit
to the site on April 21, 2010, and said that he was pleased with the progress
